Baccarat Glassworks

Baccarat, France

Baccarat Glassworks has very long history beginning in 1824 as Société de Cristallerie de Vonêche-Baccarat (Society of Crystal Vonêche, Baccarat),  While the history is interesting, it was not until 1903 that their catalog identified its line of candle lamps as veilleuses, which translates into English as "night lights."  The following are examples of a few that have been documented.
